Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a technique used to relieve both muscle and connective tissue in the deeper layers of the body. Deep tissue massages are designed to decrease severe tension and adhesions. It helps to improve range of motion and heal injuries below the surface.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release uses specific techniques to stretch and repair the connective tissue between your muscles (fascia). It helps your body heal properly from injuries and can restore range of motion. Get a greater benefit from this type of massage by adding on cupping! While traditional myofascial release is performed by applying holds in opposite directions to stretch the fascia, cupping uses negative pressure to pull, lift, and stretch the fascia while opening up and giving space for the tissue to breathe and blood flow to increase and assist with health and healing of tissue.

Add-ons

Cupping

Massage Cupping is a modern adaptation of the ancient art of cupping therapy. While massage is performed by applying deep pressure to distract/disrupt dysfunctional tissue, cupping uses negative pressure to pull, lift, open and expand the body’s tissues to allow increased blood flow and decrease issues such as adhesions and trigger points.

PNF/Mobility/Stretching

These are modalities focused on neuromuscular re-education, mobility, and stretching for overall joint health and muscular strength.

IASTM - Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

Scraping techniques are used with tools to break up adhesions to improve mobility and decrease pain or discomfort..
